Starzip Daily Check-in Quest: Earn Up to 32.5 DUST a Week (and How to Bridge BNB to opBNB)

The Daily Check-in quest is now live on Starzip. Open the Reward page once a day, tap check-in, and DUST lands in your balance — with the reward growing every consecutive day you show up.

Two things people miss on Day 1, so we're putting them at the top:

One missed day resets your streak back to Day 1. No grace period.
You need a small amount of BNB on opBNB to sign the check-in transaction. Not BSC — opBNB. We'll show you exactly how to bridge it below.

The Reward Schedule

Each consecutive day pays more than the last, with Day 7 paying the biggest reward of the week:

Notice the jump on Day 7: the daily reward grows by +0.5 every day (3 → 3.5 → 4 → 4.5 → 5 → 5.5), but Day 7 jumps +1.5 instead of +0.5. That extra +1.5 is the completion bonus, baked directly into the Day 7 reward rather than listed as a separate line. Finishing the full week is what unlocks it — miss any day in between and you never reach Day 7.

For context: the sign-up and referral quests give 0.1 DUST each. A single full check-in week is worth 325× a referral. The Discord quest is 2 DUST. One clean week of check-ins is ~16× the Discord quest.

DUST is intentionally scarce — there will not be millions of points to dilute your share at TGE. Every DUST you stack now carries weight when it converts to $STAR.

The Reset Rule (Read This Twice)

A "day" here means a UTC day — the boundary rolls over at 00:00:00 UTC. If you don't check in before that moment, the day counts as missed.

There are two ways the streak resets back to Day 1:

You miss a day. Even one skipped day drops you back to Day 1 (+3 DUST) the next time you check in. No grace period.
You complete Day 7. After collecting the +7 DUST on Day 7, the cycle restarts. The next check-in is Day 1 (+3 DUST) again — that's by design, so the streak is a repeatable weekly loop.

That means the difference between perfect attendance and "almost" is huge:

7 days in a row → 32.5 DUST, then cycle restarts at Day 1
6 days, miss day 7, restart → 25.5 DUST + restart at Day 1
Miss the middle, restart → back to +3 DUST

Set a daily reminder. The reward curve only pays off if you finish the streak.

What You Need Before Starting

A Starzip account (member.starzip.io)
A connected wallet (MetaMask or any EVM wallet you use with Starzip)
A small amount of BNB on opBNB for gas

That last item is the only real prerequisite. opBNB gas is extremely cheap, so you don't need much — just enough to cover daily transactions.

How to Get BNB on opBNB (Official Bridge)

The safest way is the official opBNB bridge operated by BNB Chain. Don't use random third-party bridges — there's no reason to.

Step 1 — Open the Official opBNB Bridge

Go to:

opbnb-bridge.bnbchain.org

Double-check the URL. The official domain ends in bnbchain.org. Anything else is a phishing site.

Step 2 — Connect Your Wallet

Click Connect Wallet in the top right and approve the connection in your wallet popup.

Make sure your wallet is on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) — that's the source network. The bridge will prompt you to switch if you're on the wrong chain.

Step 3 — Set Direction: BSC → opBNB

The bridge has two directions. You want:

From: BNB Smart Chain
To: opBNB Mainnet

Token: BNB.

Step 4 — Enter the Amount

Type in the amount of BNB you want to bridge. You only need enough to cover gas for check-in transactions — opBNB fees are a fraction of a cent per tx, so a tiny amount goes a long way. Bridge what you're comfortable with.

Important: Bridging out of opBNB back to BSC takes about 7 days due to the optimistic rollup challenge window. Only bridge in what you actually plan to use — don't park large amounts.

Step 5 — Confirm the Deposit Transaction

Click Deposit, then approve the transaction in your wallet. You'll pay BSC gas (in BNB) to send the deposit.

Wait for the BSC transaction to confirm. The bridge UI will show progress.

Step 6 — Wait for the Funds to Land on opBNB

After the BSC tx confirms, the bridge relays your deposit to opBNB. This usually takes 1–3 minutes.

Step 7 — Add opBNB to Your Wallet (If You Haven't)

To see the balance, your wallet needs the opBNB network. Add it with these details:

Network Name: opBNB Mainnet
RPC URL: https://opbnb-mainnet-rpc.bnbchain.org
Chain ID: 204
Currency Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer: https://opbnbscan.com

Most wallets can add it in one click from chainlist.org by searching "opBNB".

Switch your wallet network to opBNB Mainnet and you should see your BNB balance.

You're now ready to check in.

How to Do the Daily Check-in

Step 1 — Open Reward → Earn

Step 2 — Find the Daily Check-in Card

You'll see the Daily Check-in quest card showing today's reward (e.g. +3 DUST on Day 1, +3.5 DUST on Day 2, etc.) and your current streak day.

Step 3 — Press Check-in and Sign

Tap the Check-in button. Your wallet will pop up asking you to sign a transaction on opBNB. Confirm it.

This is where the BNB-on-opBNB requirement kicks in. The transaction fee is tiny but real — without BNB on opBNB, the tx will fail.

Step 4 — Confirm the DUST Landed

Once the tx confirms (a few seconds on opBNB), the card flips to Completed for today and the DUST is added to your balance. Your streak day advances by one for tomorrow.

Come back tomorrow. Repeat.

Troubleshooting

"Insufficient funds for gas" — Your wallet is on opBNB but has no BNB there. Bridge in a bit more using the steps above.
Wallet popup asks you to switch network — The check-in tx must be signed on opBNB. Approve the network switch and try again.
Streak shows Day 1 even though I checked in yesterday — Check-in days follow UTC, resetting at 00:00:00 UTC every day. If you check in late at night your local time, you may already be in the next UTC day — or you may have missed the window between your last check-in and the next UTC reset.
Transaction stuck pending — Refresh, check opbnbscan.com for your wallet address to confirm tx status, then re-try if it's truly stuck.
Bridge taking longer than 3 minutes — Normal during BSC congestion. Track the deposit on the bridge UI; it will arrive.

Why It's Worth Showing Up Every Day

The check-in quest is the highest-frequency DUST source on Starzip. Compared to the one-shot sign-up (0.1), referral (0.1), and Discord (2) quests, this one pays you for showing up.

Stack a full streak and you've earned more from one week of check-ins than from referring 325 friends.

The math only works if you don't miss a day. Set a reminder, keep a little BNB on opBNB, and the curve compounds.
